IRA ambush of motor party of Auxiliaries (Auxiliary RIC) at Kilmichael, County Cork on 28 November 1920. 16 Auxiliaries killed at the scene, 1 killed later having been captured following his attempt to escape and 1 wounded and survived. 3 IRA killed.
