3 Armagh Brigade – 4 Northern Division

1 Battalion: This unit was not formed until after 11 July 1921. On 1 July 1922 the unit strength was 380 all ranks. The companies of the 1 Battalion were located as follows: Armagh, Ballymacnab, Derrynoose, Keady, Lislea and Madden.
2 Battalion: This unit was not formed until after 11 July 1921. On 1 July 1922 the unit strength was 293 all ranks. The companies of the 2 Battalion were located as follows: Allistragh, Blackwaterstown, Clonmore and Annaghmore, Aughatarra, Tullysarren, Benburb and Loughgall.
3 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 212 all ranks and the strength on 1 July 1922 was 316 all ranks. The companies of the 3 Battalion were located as follows: Aghagallen, Lurgan, Derrymacash, Derrytrasna, Maghery, Portadown, Annaghamore and Clonmore, Milltown and Lurgan ( Nth. St.).
