2 Newry Brigade – 4 Northern Division

1 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 214 all ranks, and the strength on 1 July 1922 was 317 all ranks. The companies of the 1 Battalion were located as follows: Attical, Killowen, Greencastle, Kilkeel, Moneydaragh and Ballymartin.
2 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 388 all ranks, and the strength on 1 July 1922 was 627 all ranks. The companies of the 2 Battalion were located as follows: Warrenpoint, Newry, Ballyholland, Corrogs, Carbra, Barraglen, Grinan, Rosstrevor, Hilltown, Mayobridge, Barnmeen and Sheeptown.
3 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 136 all ranks, and the strength on 1 July 1922 was 246 all ranks. The companies of the 3 Battalion were located as follows: Banbridge, Ballela, Laurencetown, Knock, Loughbrickland, Tullorier, Lisnagade, Gilford and Closkelt.
